Anxiously awaiting the results

October 27, 2012

Like a trip to the doctors, this election has everyone on pins and needles.  The blood has been drawn and the doctor informs us they will call as soon as the test come back from the lab possibly a week to ten days.

As we anxiously wait for the results we wonder if everything will be alright. We worry that something is wrong, a constant fear as we are not doctors but we know deep down inside there is terrible news to come.

That is November 6th, the day of reckoning, as we get the call on who will lead this, the greatest nation in the world for the next four years.   Will we have more of the same or will we have a new look toward the future? Right now no one can say specifically till the test results come in.

According to the current President he needs more time to implement his plan, those promises that he hasn’t lived up too.  He needs us to believe in the “Hope and Change” he promised while campaigning for his first term.  Immigration reform in the first year,  50% reduction in the deficit because it was “unpatriotic” to increase our national debt by 4 trillion dollars as George Bush did as or 43rd President.

On the other hand, Mitt Romney has traveled the country to inform the voters, “we don’t have to settle for years of disappointment and decline.”   The former Governor has been traveling across the nation with his VP pick Paul Ryan insisting the President hasn’t been paying attention to the will of the people.

Soon the doctor will call us with the results.  For some the findings will cause elation as nothing appears to be wrong.  For others there will be devastation as the paperwork causes the heart to drop to the floor knowing their time is limited.  No exercise routine can help them, no change in diet will relieve them, no words will be able to console them.

November 6th will be the day we remember as the day that changed our lives forever. So remember to have your voices heard and vote. Regardless of your party, political affiliation or ideology, vote as it is your God-given right and your patriotic duty in this, the greatest nation on Earth.

GOP vs Palin

November 12, 2010

The news going around the nation after the election is that Sarah Palin caused Democrats to keep hold of the Senate.  Now, the question is will she campaign for the Presidency in 2012?

After spending the past year and a half dealing with political issues I am confident the answer is NO.  Here is my observation on this issue.

Palin is setting up a coalition by backing conservative candidates and speaking at rallies to help those individuals win elections.  She needs a strong coalition of candidates that will align themselves with her and what she stands for.

To date the candidates she backed have won just over 60% of the campaigns. Palin will continue to travel the country backing candidates with like minds until there are enough elected into all offices both State and Federal to fulfill her quest for the White House.

When Palin has built her coalition of conservative representatives she will announce her candidacy for President of the United States and only when the candidates of her choice are in office.

I believe 2012 will be to early for Palin to announce her intentions but 2016 will be the probable date she could have enough like-minded representatives elected to help her win the campaign across the nation.

During these next few years Sarah will hone her skills to deal with the media. She will learn more details on all aspects of the economy, foreign affairs and what will need to happen to return the power to the states, away from the Federal Government.

Stay tuned for the outcome of this chapter on Palin vs Republican. We will keep our eyes peeled and bring you news when it happens.
